The GTi attracts all sorts... 1. You do get the ruded up saxos, which is quite often if you happen to live near Gravesend 2. The mid-wave pacers, that attempt at bullying a small car out the way 3. But i also get RS4s and M3s etc whirling around behind Just shows how great these little cars are really, pulling looks from everywhere...got some beans too, beats most stuff round roundabouts and country lanes! I had same trouble with my KW colivers... KW rebuilt mine though, and its just gone again! Should have got a new one like you!! Wilko

Lately ive been putting a few things right for summer then pick it up from service and; 1. KW Coilovers are gone...rear one is leaking and shot 2. Driving it home and doesn't go into gears properly Great start to summer!! Has anyone else had problems on GTIs with these? Wilko

Read through the 'How to' section...found a bit but its only for non lupo Gtis. Found one screw under the curvy dash bit then tried wriggle it around but was very close to snapping it...anyone know how to remove it? Cheers......Wilko

Having just found a new momo steering wheel in my dads garage i searched for a boss kit for the lupo...demon tweeks come up as not available! Does this mean that it cannot go on?! Wilko

True...although my paps is a car nut, and has done plenty of driving of and on track...its like a test whenever im out in the car with him...so my driving isnt that bad. Insurance companies are annoying, they should test everyone in the car they wish to be insured in!!?? Silly idea as it would cost vast amounts of dosh!!

I turned 18 in november....got my gti at the end of summer that year.

I went for KW variant 3, whwen this picture was taken they were as low as possible, but since then i raised them a tad as the speed bumps round where i live battered the front of my car. Wilko

Just come across this thread, Ive got 15" Lenso RS5 on the gti, i have dropped it on coilovers though. ...Nice wheels but i sort of agree with the comments on them, they are not very unique and do look like they belong on a honda, I may spray my Bathhursts black and stick them back on... Indeed, thats what G-werks said! Getting the car back next week... is it sad to say that i miss it! Well i was thinking of buying some different wheels, just so i have some... but i think it will be a waste of money, which i can't really cope with. Cheers for the positive feedback. Wilko

I don't actually know the ride height, i'm having new coilovers put on this week, as these are leaking. In the picture though, they are KW variant 3 coilovers dropped as low as they go, it was done by the previous owner. Wilko

Well i did have knocking from underneath... was either the exhaust or the driveshaft. The car is in the workshop now getting checked over, and a few other bits. So should know soon really. Wilko

They are 15s needed 3mil spacers front and back.

Some Porsche teledials finished in Satin black with polished inserts would be nice... but not to sure of the fittings etc Wilko

Not much done to it yet... but am starting to list the things i may do. Just thought i'd say hi to you all, I'm Wilko and registered today but been scanning the forums for months now. So many ideas in my head of what to do to my Lupo, this site has helped me pin down partly what i wish to achieve. Good to finaly be here!
