Its actually an Alpine - CDA 9853. Ive currently resorted to putting it in everytime i drive and taking it out at the end of the day...pain in the ****ng arse. Might try it with my brothers JVC one on Sunday to see if it has the same problem. Im really confused though, I had the same one in my 1.4 sport (now have a GTi) I just unplugged the two iso adapter pins and moved it straight to the GTi, now its not reacting to the ignition switch. Any more ideas anyone???

Im having a prob with my headunit, so Ive had to take it out. It doesnt go on and off with the ignition, and it drained my battery, so ive been living without it for 2 months. I know someones gonna say switch the red and yellow wires round, that was the first thing I tried. Also tried putting the vw stereo back in but the same thing happens. I think its a problem with the wire to the fuse box, but Im not sure. Anyone else have this problem?

Anybody know how much VW charge for camber adjustment? Or of anywhere around the Barnet, North London area who do it... Cheers.

yeh i had a gear box oil leak a little while ago, what did you do to fix it?

Was driving my GTI a little while back and suddenly it began making a whizzing/whirling sound in second gear. Took it to the garage and they replaced something on the exhaust and it stopped temporarily, now its back again. Only happens in second, and only happens when you press on the accelerator, nothing in idle or any other gears. Gonna take it back to the garage soon because I need a joint replaced anyway to stop it squeeking when i go round corners, just wondering if anybody has any ideas as to what it might be so that I can point them in the right direction??? Cheers, i phoned the local dealer that i use today and they said its £17 something......... im guessing they got the wrong part, they usually do when i explain to them what i need! cos that sounds a more likely price. But im gonna go down tomorrow and order the part so i can explain to them when i go down.

Does anybody know how much the whole fitment costs, not just the bulb but the actual fitment. Some penis reversed into my car, and cracked the glass so i need to get a new one. Cheers.

my brothers been doin taekwondo for years now and he loves it, its all he talks about! lol, he also does hapkido and tanksoudo which are more close combat martial arts, and incorporates them into training people in self defence and how to use it in everyday situations. With all this knowledge although he doesnt look it and i wouldnt admit it to his face, he is a mean mother****er and is one person i wouldnt like to meet in a dark alley. Ive nevere taken it up because im far too lazy, but if you have the commitment and desire, id say go for taekwowdo because it can open up the door to other martial arts and make ou a sick son of a *****.

cos i saw this post here and wanted to see if i could find the lupo.

fair play one litre, i just dont understand why you would want to ruin something thats beautiful as it is. If its not broken dont fix it. The lupo looks good because its subtle, its not a lairy car and that works perfectly........i guess i just dont understand.

looking at it again ive just had a thought, id rather crash my lupo into a wall than have it look like that!
