Thanks for all the response on my car! Got the aero wipers today and cambridge rear lights plus most of the bits for the g60 brake upgrade! Removed the orange inserts in the cambridge lights and will be buying the same indicator bulbs as fitted to the front! More pics asap! Cheers John!

Yes very happy! It is how the lupo GTI should of been from standard! Very smooth ride and handles brilliant and is the ride height I was after! Handles very much like my last car now which was a Civiv type R!

Had the alignment done at north Eastern tyres in middlesbrough and cost £23 all in! They have the latest Hi tech sysyem and got a print out of all the figures before and after! The only thing that needed changing was the toe on the front wheels as all the rest of the camber e.t.c. was still within limits!

All fitted and allignment done as well! Took me 6 hours to fit everything and have took lots of pics which I will put up asap! Very impressed with the ride! Feels very comfortable but handles brilliant and has came down to the height I was after! Worth every penny! Looks very oem still!

Thanks phil! there is a metal sleve and a washer that I got with new kit and had the same on the kit I got so just replaced these items like for like! Cheers John! Pics up of new kit and install asap!

Hi! Fitted rear suspension today to my GTI and is the bilstein shocks and springs! Can anyone confirm that I need to fit all the parts that where removed from the old shocks and which way up do the springs go? Tight coils to the top or the bottom? Cheers John!

Torque settings required for suspension componets! I am fitting the bilstein kit tomorrow and need to know the torque settings for all the suspension nuts and bolts! All help is much appreciated! Cheers John!

Seen a silver one parked in middlesbrough the other day with perforated leather! My leather is just smooth and is dark grey. All the other lupo's I have seen have black leather! Mine is also heated.

Show us some pics when you have done it! You could always stitch some elastic into the bottom of the anni gator to get it to fit like the lupo gator!

Well took the plunge today and ordered the Bilstein B12 suspension kit! Have been undecided about what suspension kit to buy for my Gti since I bought it 6 weeks ago! Was going to go for coilovers but decided I don't really want to go that low and have looked at various other kits i.e. H&R cup kit and Koni Kit. I decided to pay the bit extra and go for the Bilstien Kit which is made only for the GTI and comes with tailored H&R springs and bilstein dampers lowering to 30mm all round which is the height I am after. Ordered from speedbox.co.uk for 481 pounds with free delivery which is the cheapest off the net! This kit retails for over 550 pounds! I will have pics up in the next couple of weeks of all the new mods I have in the pipeline!

I think the scorpion exhaust really suits the car and makes the rear end look more meaty! £290 from venom!

Does the scorpion have a nice throaty exhaust note and have did you get any power increase with it fitted? Cheers John!

Does the koni kit fit the Gti? I only ask this as on the koni site the front shock is different on the GTI over the other models and is only available as an insert not the whole shock! Was thinking of the Koni kit myself! Do you have the kit number and what did you get in it? Cheers John!

Neither of those kits is for the GTi! The correct kit has to be bought from H & R themselves and is 420 pounds!

30mm all round is suppose to be the best for handling!
