  12. All done! Took me longer than I thought as had to paint the rest of the caliper to match the carrier! Will have to wait until tonight to test the brakes and give the paint chance to dry! Pics:- Before:- border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> After:- border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  13. kit was £481 delivered but retails at £550! I would say it has lowered the car about 30 mm all round! Off to fit my g60 brakes now! Pics will follow!
  14. Count me in! Will be good to get a look at everyones car!
  15. Yes the carriers are refurbed but does not matter as was going to paint them anyway! I used hammerite first but they where too bright so used a enamel paint from b&q called Jalpac and is signal red which has now gone a lot darker close to the original caliper colour! This is a very easy mod and I am expecting big improvements! Will let you know the results over the next week bedding the brakes in!
  16. Got the G60 brake conversion to do this weekend after getting hold all the bits! Just waiting for the third coat of paint on the caliper carriers to dry! Got the bits pretty cheap:- VW pads £25, brembo 280mmx22mm discs £50 and caliper carriers £90 delivered! border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> I will post the fitted pics tomorrow night if all goes well!
  17. More pics now with aero wipers fitted! border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  18. Used an old soldering iron and melted them out! Easy but took a while!
  19. New rear lights fitted without nasty orange inserts! border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  20. The rear suspension is a doddle to fit! Just undo the top nuts then jack the car up by the toe eye point and then undo 1 bottom bolt from each strut to remove them then simply lift out the srings! I only got an allinment check after I fitted the kit as did not see the point to getting one done before!
  21. "can i ask if you touched the fuel filter or rear silencer while fitting??" what do you mean by that?
