  1. Haha I don't blame you not many things annoy me more tbh ! I can't seem to find the eBay kit, when I get in the laptop I'll have a proper look for you. Personally I like how they look, especially with a colour coded bumper which I would reccomend had mine done by the guy behind ETB only charged me £80 and it's mint !! But yeah back on topic.... I plan to fit them to mine at some point
  2. WOW ! What a fantastic car and build thread, I've just read start to finish pretty much and I'm speechless. So much respect for the work you've done, everything is top notch anything happened in the last 2 months ?
  3. And there's also the fact that 75% of people inredditch think it's clever to drive with their fog lights on No matter what the weather conditions even in broad daylight so maybe he wants to blend in
  4. Redditch does actually get quite bad fog during the winter months, late last year/early this year were the worst it's been in a long time
  5. As far as I remember they just pull out ? I may be wrong tho lol of they don't there must be some form of clip to push and release them
  6. Oh you'll need a switch too depending on how you plan on wiring them, most vags of the time have the same headlight switch so find one with front fogs on it or if not then just a rocker switch with a light on it
  7. There's a kit on eBay that sells everything mate apart from cable which you can get from anywhere lol, the kits £75 I'll find it and post the link
  8. Before I go to the effort of buying a multimeter can anyone tell me/show me which cable is the ignition live ? Thank you please
  9. Cracking lookin motor I must say, not sure if it's a forum member ?? Pressed plates with GB badges, was flying, I did try keep up but the derv was having none of it haha.... Anyway it was around 14:20 on the bromsgrove highway
  10. It's the factory stereo so there isn't a red and yellow cable they're like brown, red, blue/brown and red/brown I believe it's not exactly a problem just irritating and if I forget it stands a chance I'll have a dead battery when I come to leave work or whatever lol
  11. Small update, I brought myself a Seat 'Alana' CD player as for some reason aftermarket stereos won't work in m car anymore but this works lovely, very happy and you can't get much more OEM some pics, and pics of the sprayed dash too Can anybody help with my permanent live problem ? I have to turn my stereo on and off manually every time I get in/out the car, it's been like thi since me and my mate blew my aftermarket stereo, I can also light up my brake lights and flash my main beam without even having the key in the ignition... Any ideas suggestions ? Cheers Comments welcome
  12. I would have if it hadn't bloody rained had some lovely beading tho couldn't get a pic I was too busy
  13. Just spent the last 3-4 Hours washing, polishing and waxing Geraldine very happy with how shiney she is ! I used good old SRP to polish her and AG Aqua Wax to wax her (obviously lol) dunno if anybody else has used the aqua wax but seems to do a pretty good job, hard to say on such a light coloured car but I'm happy, that stuff smells amazing !! AG seem to do pretty well when choosing aromas for their products I must say !! After all that anyway I AG glass polished the windows and a coat of Megs Endurance tyre gel (<3 great smelling too !!) on everything that is black sadly light was fading when i finished so no decent photos just one of the reflection in my dads accord and one of a reflection on the roof..... Only iPhone pics so nowt special Cars at different levels so not the best  Not too bad a reflection considering the light conditions
  14. What do you guys think about having my wheels like this ?? And if someone has the epic Photoshop skills to stick them on my car I will love you for ever
  15. Only if I teLl them, coilies are a visible modification whereas a remap is 'invisible' even if I do get coilies I will still be getting a remap at some point so just an answer would be useful
  16. That's my choice and beside the point...
  17. so as my insurance want to charge me £400 to have coilovers fitted im gonna get a remap done instead, does anybody know of a reputable remapping place in the west mids or even midlands area ? cheers in advance
  18. Tell me more ? I've never heard of them lol
  19. Yeah lowering springs or coilovers if I can get away with it and thank you !
  20. Cheers buddy I agree I had it for by a body shop as I'm not that confident when it comes to spraying especially something that's so much on show, only cost me £80 so wasn't too bad. It was primered then sprayed tho in answer to your question lol Also the front end looks even better since I took the orange vinyl off the badge IF the weather is ok on the weekend im going to give her a good clean and polish and take some decent pics ! Big IF tho lol
  21. Somebody on another forum gave similar advice I will have to check that out. I really want coils is the only thing lol I love the idea of it being adjustable. Cheers mate
  22. Stuck on what to do guys, I spoke to my insurance yesterday and they want to add £400 to my premium if I have coilovers fitted... I dunno what to do I can't really afford £160 a month for insurance and tbh I don't REALLY want to void my insurance by not having them covered :S any ideas/advice ??
  23. I'm very happy with mine, I can't comment on how they wear yet as I only had them on Saturday. Mine have a heel plate in so should last a little longer. I have no idea where my parents brought them from but I think they were around the £50 mark. Here's a pic...
  24. I've got/ getting a set for my birthday. I'll let you know what they're like and if they are worth it price range is incredible tho anywhere between £20 and £100+ !
