hey, right searching gumtree as i sometimes do and i came across this car http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/vw-lupo-gti-replica/109564670 now my opinion is WOW!!!!!!! what was he thinking , this looks shocking and how could anyone want to drive around in something that looks like this.... and a cool down alarm ????? and to me it just looks like a ruined lupo what does everyone else think ?

I wasn't enquiring because I wanted to take it off . Now i read it back ot sounds like i was . It was more for the information side of things . As trying to work out how people get there gti so low as from what I can see there is no way around it . I know I need it and tbh I don't want to take of vital pieces of the car. It's the same with I won't notch my chasis as it can make your car weaker . I was just for information . As cant work it out how they do it .

Hey right I was wondering if you need the front anti-roll bar to pass a mot ? As my car can't go any lower without resting on the roll bar and to be fair it's not that low . And I still have arch gap. and also any gti drivers who are running there car really low . Could you spread some light how you got your cars really low ? Many thanks nick

right i have a stubby mirror in my garage but instead of it having just the one screw hole like the lupo does it has 3 i believe it was from when i had my mk4 golf. i was wondering is there any way to change the base plates over so i could use my origional base plate, so it will fit my lupo ? any help would be much appreacated ? and also how do you get the wire out of the door as i cant seem to get it out many thanks Nick

hey i was wondering whose lupo that was i was there and didnt see the owners of either of them ill be at the next one for sure so ill look out for you as would be nice to chat

so a couple of things done firstly finished my wheels and got them on my car went with the matt purple to go with the car then realised that it sat too high so rear adjusters out and front wound down so ive closed the arch gap up looks so much better now and got a couple of cheeky stickers for the back window thats all for now but more things to come

how high is your sump compareded to your front splitter ? and ive mangaged to higher mine slightly so its gone slightly lower again haha

I've thought about it but wasn't sure how low the sump sat as don't want to have it too near the floor haha

I was just wondering cause if there's a fair bit of space i can just take the engine cover off but thanks for the advice I may think about that

I was wondering how all the gti drivers get there car so low . As my engine covers so close to the floor already and my splitter is miles away from the floor . So I was wondering , is there a fair distance between the engine cover and the sump ? Cause that's the only way I can see the gti being low ? Any help would be much appreciated Many thanks Nick

thanks for the help ill be ordering them very soon yeah i saw that that what your ment to do . but when i did it they are still far out so the garage advised me to get camber bolts which for the sake of 20 quid wil save my tyres for longer

right its ben a while since i updated this so here we go a few new bits have come along firstly these turned up in the post and the car was lowered alot on the standard wheels then i purchased these for a mear 50 quid which was a steal. then i got to sanding them back and primering them loving the card trick more pics to come soon

right i took my car to be tracked since ive put it on coilovers and they told me that i need to get camber adjustment bolts ? as my camber wont be perfect till i have them . my question is where abouts do i get such bolts from ? thanks in advance Nick

ive put the 9n arial on my lupo and its like half the size of the origional lupoboz is the place to go
