I know this is getting a bit off-topic now, but just for the record Don't know about tax - but they have insurance. One kicked in the side of my old Beemer once and I claimed successfully against the guy. And BillyBlackspins - I get out and have plenty of fun thanks - I just don't trash the place when I'm doing it.

Years ago I took my first Vento in for one of it's first ever services and while the garages' boss was out for lunch one of the young mechanics took his mate out for spin in my car - literally. They lost it at over 100mph and hit a tree backwards. The Vento was totalled - the tree trunk ended up where the rear arm rest should have been. The driver and passenger spent a while in hospital but recovered. Anyhow - I kept the Passat courtesy car they'd given me for nine months while I took my time choosing a replacement Vento! Boy did I abuse that car...

Yeah I'll probably see it quite often then - I live up on Rodborough Common and go though Avening and Tetbury twice a day on my way to work at Dyson. If you get flashed by a black Vento it's only me!
