Please help, got a seat arosa 1.0 mpi with an engine misfire, I have changed the egr valve, spark plugs, ht leads, and cleaned the throttle body and fixed a slight split in the intake hose, I'm fresh out of ideas, the car idles fine but any throttle at all and It drops a cylinder or 2, it is unsafe to drive due to constant misfire under load, could it be a valve dropped? Please please help, thinking of setting it on fire!

I had the same problem with my arosa 1.0 a few weeks ago and i thought it was the pedal box too, it always crunched into gears etc then one day i heard a snap and thought the pedal box had failed and it turned out to be the clutch cable that snapped so i would check that. Hope that helps.
