well im gonna see how it goes.. and if it proves too much then...unno.. cos theres not much way of getting a garranteed working engine.. and if they are telling the truth about the mileage or not.. so... arrrgghhh! im so impatient as well!!!

oh right okay, well that one has fallen through cos it was sold or broken or somthing, thay emailed me back after asking some questions, and just said it was broken/sold....but i have found another engine from a breakers yard in norfolk, £545 with delievry included, and its only got 31k on it aparently????? so im gonna ask some more questtions about it, and find out the history on it..so wish me luck in my search for the holy lupo engine*

Where and how do i even start to go about getting a new engine? it has to be a VW lupo one right?, i really don't know what to do... i really doubt the insurance people will help out.... help help!!!

It was a dark day for the lupo, on this burning hot day a drive to brisrol from Swindon finished it off.... The cambelt went, it started to loose power and so i pulled off the M4 onto the hard shoulder, literally 500 yards from the bristol turn-off!, called the AA, they came and towed us home, (Swindon) told me it was the cambelt and that it could need a NEW ENGINE! so got VW to pick it up the next day and they did an inspection, only to confirm the Worst!! it needed a whole new engine, and was gonna cost £2645 all in! So the next step is to find out if i could claim on the insurance for that sorta thing, and if not........i can't bear to think about!!!! my eyes are welling up!

Yeah i wanna clean them out aswell! so you don't have to remove any body work to get them out? cos i was trying to get the bit that goes round the lights and the grill off... but something went "SNAP" so i screwed it all back and ran off!! okay il try popping them out... any tips?

it must sound like im obsest with indicators @ the mo.. but.. How do you..... Remove the side indicator to change the bulb? i wanna change the SIDE REPEATER bulb, is it just a case of pulling it off or something? help please

Hello every1, Im considering selling my lupo..i know its upsetting but it has to be done, its in very good nik, 50k on the clock, T reg..(99) for that year, normal mileage is 75k so its low! and the VW people reckon £2000 is a good price.. should i ask for more like £2500 and then if people wants to barter me down then so be it????????
