  1. Found this little gem on ebay today, at least some people still have a sense of humour http://www.ebay.co.u...5#ht_500wt_1156 Might be worth bidding on James

  3. Cheers mate Yeah that's right, luckily it worked out , and just used a basic spray adhesive it seems to be holding so far. James
  4. Thanks michelle Yeah you want stretch in the material, as there's a lot of pulling to make it fit right. What i used is a shirt fabric, only downside is its a bit thin so you've got to watch you don't use too much glue or it seeps through. Definitely going to look at either re-upholstering my seats or buying mk1 audi tt seats next James
  5. Not yet Koop, finished and fitted the rears though: Glad to be an inspiration, I got by material from ebay was a lucky find really, and the size was 2 yards x 45" Luck forward to see what you've got planned for yours James
  6. Yeah i wanted to go for something a bit different hopefully it'll work James
  7. Been really getting into re-upholstering the interior so bought some more fabric to do thee door cards with, only done one so far but will hopefully do the rest tomorrow and fit them James
  8. when i did mine i just used spray adhesive to glue it down, start at the top where the sun visors are as they're the hardest part then make your way down just make sure you pull the fabric tight to fit it properly not get any creases and most important take your time doing it will always get the best results James
  9. cheers guys Had some material left over after doing the headlining so decided to use it on the parcel shelf here's how it came out James
  10. After thinking about what i could do next i decided to have a go at some basic upholstery so decided to do my headlining in black suede, here's the results: Also in the process of spraying ceiling trim black Next step i'm going to have a go at something a bit more challenging and re-upholster the door cards. James

  12. Carpet and spray adhesive arrived today and with it being a really sunny day today decided to finally finish off my boot build I'm really pleased with it as the false floor didn't cost much at all to build with pretty much the same sound And looks a lot tidier to original sub enclosure James
