  1. I'll need to have a proper look when I'm off next to be sure but are all/most of the Arosa/Lupo parts interchangable?
  2. So, I've had my wee Arosa for just over a week now and am enjoying every mile. Well..... apart from the soft suspension. While I'm sure it would be great round the city centre, on the B road runs I'm often doing it's rolling about like a trawler on the high seas. I'm not really looking to slam it as I'd end up with a snow plough come the winter but would like it firmed up a bit. As all the after market springs I've seen sem to lower 40-60mm I was wondering if there were any other springs that didn't lower as much. I was also wondering about the 16v/GTi suspension, surely the 100bhp cars have stiffer suspension than the 60bhp or less crowd. If so, would these stock parts fit?
  3. I know this wasn't a trip in my new Arosa but for anyone who hasn't done a run to Applecross... are you mad? This is a fantastic road and a really great run. I've been a couple of times and it's always well worth the effort. So, for anyone still trying to decide if they should bother here's a few pic's from the run I did n my Scoob along with my mate in his Evo in July this year.
  4. Hi from Moray, Just picked my Arosa up the other day and very happy with it and a great commuter/daily runner. And acting as wingman for my Scoob A bit of a Yin and Yang situation going on and colour coded to match Arosa 1.4 mpi 60 bhp 85 lb-ft 116 Nm Impreza WRX STi 360 bhp 362 lb-ft 491 Nm

Having just picked up my Arosa and drove it home in the dark I wasn't overly impressed with the stock headlights and will be going down the Osram Night Breaker route. Found these at a glance http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120683486316?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 not sure if there's better deals out there but will have a proper look later.
  6. And here she is...... And alongside the Scoob. Having only got her yesterday I spent today doing a wee service and painted the scabby the calipers.
  7. Ok so it's just over 100 miles or so north before ya tyres start getting wet and ya floating to Orkney, it'd be 640 miles south for the same thing. Always good to have other members in the area for meets and the like, so anyone near me post up and bonus points for being further north
  8. That's the plan, the Arosa for commuting and daily running about and the Scoob sitting waiting for weekends nice weather.
  9. Hi to all, New here but not to motoring forums as I've been pretty active on the Scoob scene for the last 5 years. Anyhoo, I had a daily runner in the guise of a 6n Polo for two years which I used for commuting and general running about. Unfortunately, a water leak over last winter took it's toll and the inside was ruined, so this on top of a few other things meant it had to go earlier this year. So, after much searching and deliberation I've gone for a Seat Arosa, the 1.4 mpi model. Looks cool and I'm sure will get me from A to B and back again. Going to pick it up tomorrow which means spending ages on the bus but needs must. I'll throw up some pic's as soon as I get the chance .
