  1. How much does a hipster weigh?........... An Instagram
  2. Yeah it's never an easy job. When they build a car it generally goes: Chassis, heater matrix...... Everything else. It took me 6 hours just to get to the one on our Range Rover
  3. No lessons, No Car until I'd passed, Passed 1st time. Tractor License at 16. Driving 390hp Fendt's costing £200k plus And there was no insurance increase on the policy. Madness?....
  4. Don't quote me on this but it could be the heater matrix. Seal gone or something. Happens commonly in Range Rover's and 306's with similar symptoms.
  5. A General Car meet for non and members of South West performance car! Get yourself down to Brean beach for a afternoon of viewing cars, some photos (taken by me!) and maybe a BBQ if i can source one! 2:00 Start and will end when everyone wants to go! Then there's the Crib's meet (often fills the car park) and will probably be a Midnight Cruise meet that night @ bristol so some of you may wanna head up to that after! The entrance to the beach has a few speedhumps but nothing major. Costs about £3/ £4. It is the entrance just before the roundabout in brean if your coming from Berrow! (see the bottom of the page for a map!). We wont be far along the beach, youll see us! I will remind you that Brean is the only beach in the UK that can supply Section 59's on the spot (probably best not to ask how i know! ha). For anyone who doesnt know what a section 59 is, i can only explain its like a ASBO for driving! So in other words, no racing, drifting, and messing around (includes loud music.. apparently!). STRICT 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT at all times! See you all there!
  6. Why don't you tell me Santa isn't real while you're at it!
  7. Well they're being blasted today then i shal get on polishing them. And if I think they could do with being painted, I'll mask them put and go for it. I will post pics of them on the car later this week
  8. And is the best partner ever!
  9. So I just picked up a set of 4 Scala's for £40 (With one brand new tyre i might add). Just need a bit of sanding and they'll be good to polish. However I'm a bit stuck on what to do with them. I'm not sure whether to go OEM with them and have them painted the same colour as the Loop (Like the Scirocco's that they were originally on) Or to just go full polish with them. Thoughts and opinions on the matter would be appreciated Tom
  10. Yeah I've seen some shoes i like, but they're size 10 and I'm a 12. Will they fit?
  11. Just a couple quick questions to those who are on air What kit would you recommend? How much was it? (Kit and Install) If I've got 3 gas tanks in the boot..... 1 more couldn't hurt

    Sport alloys

You silly old sod. I've got some
  13. So, as Defcon said, the sound was horrifically loud! Nice and deep below 2k, and then had a stupidly loud bark/rasp beyond there. So i had the cat refitted today and it's still without back box or silencers but is really deep throughout the range. Will post a video later to see what you guys think
  14. Personally i love it Individuality is what makes the car scene (see what i did there) Done right, any car can pull off any look
  15. Looks awesome I'm looking to get a mesh grille from the dreaded eBay atm, so there's always that possibility. So it'd be subtle. But i'm still toying with the idea of this scoop. I'll go and talk to my all-knowing mechanic tomorrow and see what reckons on the work that'd have to be done
  16. I see where you're coming from.... example - Cut top off airbox and put fixed pipework leading to where the scoop would be when the bonnet closes? Cus i can't see a way that i can route it to be BMC if the angles are gonna be a problem
  17. I'll see if I a can make something up to go on the inside of the bonnet, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, for not I need to focus on cutting the bonnet open
  18. Well I got about a metre of felexible hose, the sort that you can kink into any shape and it holds there. Gonna have to make up an attachment to fit it too that. And also some sort of method when I close the bonnet it all shortens and when I open it, it lengthens.
  19. Personally a Cooper S one will look pretty good if i fit it properly so I'm gonna go for it
  20. Pretty much read my mind Cheap to buy, but fitting i can see being expensive
  21. Yeah i know a few Loop's with the one fog look but I'd rather try for a scoop, as Thealex said, just to stand out a bit
  22. Mine rattles like a handful of pebbles in a tin can. Both heat shields, sub vibrating everything, door seals creaking, when the clutch is up... Just turn the music up Btw that exhuast is going on tomorrow, I'll get some pics for you CJ

    Bonnet Scoop

Has anyone put a scoop on a loop before? Not for looks as I'm going for 'Fast and Furious' Was thinking about rooting the induction to it for the ram air principle. What's the thoughts?
