got it! there were 3 bolts in the actual engine bay that released the heater unit, 2 bolts on the top of the matrix and i was out. now just have to put it all back together

Yeah i can see where they go but can get to the other side. i think there may be a couple of bolts in the engine bay that i may have missed, can you remember if there were any hiding behind the sound deadening? i might have a go at trying to squeeze behind it without removing everything first, thanks for the advice! much appreciated

hello! i am trying to replace my heater matrix, horrible job but i have no money to pay for someone else to do it anyway i have the steering wheel off and the dash completely out but how do i get to the heater matrix to change it, i cant see any bolts holt the complete heater system and fan unit in so havent a clue where to begin. thanks in advance
