Update:- There was 2 plug leads loose, and on the way home from work on friday the oil pressure light flashed 3 times and beeped with each flash. I pulled over turned car off and checked oil ( something I do often regardless) The oil level was fine and rosie was not over heating. I decided to continue on for the remaining 3 miles and got home ok. I am starting to think is the oil pressure sensor at fault? I know a few people with vag readers and when I am off next thursday I may go and get it looked at.

Hi all little Rosie the 1.0l arosa who has 40888 miles on the clock and is 11 years old has developed a habbit of limiting the revs to 3000rpm after constant driving for 30mins or more. If the ignition is turned off and on again it tends to comes good. Has anyone got any ideas as to what could be going on? All help greatly appreciated.

I was in VW today booking the Sharan in for some warranty work, so I bit the bullet and bought a new base fit it this weekend. It's good to know arosabinns that this sorted out your problems.

Apparently I need a need aerial base, as the small circuit in it is corroded

Hi all, I can only get limited reception on my Seat Arosa. Ive heard thers a problem with the small circuit board in the antenna. Has anyone had any problems like this? If so did you buy original parts or is there a cheaper option, without having to run a new aerial cable?

Removed the Seat and Arosa badge, think i'll leave the s badge for now. Bump strips are coming of this afternoon .

I'm sure this has been covered a 100 times before. Can the S badge on the rear of the mk1 be removed? If so what do you think yea or nea?

I have found (remembered about) a set of rims that I had on one of my Glaza turbo's similar to light weights on a toyota twincam coupe. They are in a serious need of a refurb, and I can strip the paint and soda blast them at work. I will try to get a photo up as soon as I have one, to see what you all think, as of yet i'm not sure of what colour/finish to go for. I'll keep u all posted.

I have just sold my gt4 celica and glanza turbo, (now that the speed thing is outa my system) and have bought a 1.0l (need the economy), year 2000 seat arosa with genuine 35,000 miles on the clock and all the paper work to back this up. I have turned to this site for inspiration and I must say some of the cars on here are amazing, and a real credit to their owners. Hope mine turns out as nice as I plan. Anywho hello to all

So I ring's the guy selling the pirelli p slots this morning and tell him i'm taking his rims and will be down after work to pay for them and pick them up, so I finish work at 20.50 and drive the 30 miles to his house all excited. Only to find out he's gone and sold the rims to someone else who had been and taken them away this evening wot a w**k*r. I'm gutted. Now I need to source a set of rims, any suggestiions?

Hi all, newbie here. I have just bought a year 2000 seat arosa and pick it up on sunday. I have the oportunity to purchace a set of pirelli p slot alloys. The wheels are 6J X 14H2 ET38 PCD 4 X 100. My question to you guys/girls is, Have you ever came across an arosa/lupo with these kind of wheels? If so what did you think? They are not a polished finished but have been sprayed silver, that's not to say I could not get them polished. Please help me out? Many thanks in advance Darren.......
