So trying to restore I little love into my arosa, has anyone put the mk2 front end on a mk1. And other than the obvious wings, bumpers, bonnet, headlights and a slam panel what else would I need. I spoke to a few breakers and they reckon about £200 for these parts and considering I still have shed loads of nato green left its free to paint. Thanks Adam

I'll try get a puck up soon as. I was pulling into the Asda the other day and on the main there was a raised man hole cover which I hit and bounced off like a bumper car. What I want to no is if my subframe would be the same as an 2002 lupo one mines a 1.0 1997 mpi ( original lupo ) thanks guys

was a good day my first car show so reali enjoyed it i think i spoke to a few of you guys (well people with mk1 arosas) i was on my friends stand at the far end in the little tank

have you decided to keep it then, dont no why it didnt sell its a rite bargain + is it a ballache to do the lupo conversion

i once saw a nato green astra at a show and he had a black roof box with a bit of drainpipe sticking out of the end to form a turret, but i do hold a firearms license for my clay pigeon shooting but im not sure about the laws on tanks, however i do know a very friendly M.O.T man

tbh we hardly did any we just scuffed the origonal paint work up with 320 grit and paint just enough for the paint to stick to, its a very tuff paint made for painting tanks with anyway so its pretty strong. we got the car striped and painted in around 5 hours on a friday night all you need is some beers to perswade your friends that this is a good idea

my springs and plates came today so hopefully gonna get it done tommorow

yer i reali like that what are the laws on tinting headlights because a very much like that. i think my main aim is to build an intresting car on a budget so some army surplus wouldnt go a miss. cheers guys

cheers bud the satin black was spray cans but it was cheaper to buy the green in a tin than cans we then borrowed my mates gun and compressor and did it in his lock up

right so its about time i made a little build thread im sort of on a budget (being a poor student an all) so far ive only just done paint which came in around £80 alltogether. ive just orderd some lowering springs and pressed plates but there not here yet let us know what you think cheers its only 2 inch bless and the parts we missed but weve never painted anything before so fairly happy my little bit o carbon and well who dosnt like jager will get more photos up once the mo lows gets here. cheers guys ps thts not me in the pic i dislike superman

keep seeing a low mk1 arosa sport with a roof rack on moor lane in gomersal, i was delivering pizzas near there. i call it lupo land because a few doors down theres a standard yellow lupo, on the next street theres a blue lupo gti and a few more streets away theres a peach mk1 arosa. if your reading this the pizzas are spot on
