hi all, have sold my lupo so no longer need these parts original bathurst alloys in white no curbing at all (could do with a lick of paint as they are a bit stained from brake dust etc.). come with tyres, two are 205/50/15 and very good, one is 195/50/15 and average wear. the last tyre will need replacing asking for £200 collected from london (near heathrow). i have also got a set of clim-air wind delfectors £15 posted to uk mainland and lastly a standard gti engine cover and airbox in very good nik £50 for both (£60 posted

lupo now on ebay item 190511543658

from experience, the camber bolts wont work very well on the gti because of the already existing elongated holes. its best to check before you buy them wether your top bolt is in the middle or at its maximum already (as then the camber bolts would allow for even further movement) i managed to get -3.5 degrees with the standard bolts and judging by where the bolt sits i think i could get a bit more and the same the other side (positive). if that isnt enough room for adjustment there must be something seriously wrong! if anyone is still interested drop me a pm ive got a set which i fitted only to find out i dont need them =S.

with the right tyres then yes. ive got 15x7 et12 with 175/55/r15 tyres (a bit big i know) and only get minimal rubbing on the back with passengers. its been lowered and the arches havent been rolled
-
hope its not 90 miles south lol
-
lowering usually increases negative camber. also depending on your wheels you might need your arches rolling??
-
i agree with deadmetal negative camber doesnt mince the inside of the tyres, what actually happens is that the tyre wear occurs mainly on the inside edge. the overall life of the tyre will remain pretty much the same.
