Hi, i found a video clip of someone reving there car up with a janspeed exhaust after searching for it a few weeks ago. the camera is focused on the exhaust and lasts about 30 seconds. think its a silver or grey gti but now i cant seem to find it anyone know where it is?

i'd be very lucky to be able to get one from a scrap yard. most would be smashed from front damage and prob wont have aircon euro car parts dont list a 1.6gti, but i suppose a cooling fan for a 1.4 with aircon would be the same? Stealthie's inbox in full so cant ask him, typical!!!!!!!! cheers

Does someone on here work for VW? and can get staff discount? because i need a cooling fan, part number 6no 959 453p and it costs £181 can anyone get one cheaper, i've searched the internet and think its a main dealer part only

no one know about cooling fans? could it be one of these: *fan relay *fan control module *fan resistor pack anyone know where these would be?

anyone know how this will be fixed? is there a relay or sensor that can be replaced, surely the whole cooling fan doesnt need replacing??

ok, mine only comes on when the pressure is high. so i think it must be a 2 stage fan. 1st stage comes on when the a/c is switched on (like jon_273 says) then 2nd stage only kicks in (like mine) when its really hot like sitting in traffic on a hot day

got my air con fixed at last. it was the compressor and a few other things but the cooling fan was a problem, it only kicked in when the pressure got high so the guy wasnt sure if it was a 2 stage fan or just 1? does anyone know????? if its a 2 stage fan then the first stage doesnt work and need to get it fixed!

yeah think i will need to replace it and then put something on it to stop it happening again maybe spraying it with clear laquer but then maybe it will make it hard to bend round the grill and may start to crack

i bought some red grill piping like a few other people on here on here a while back but the problem is its faded and its a pink colour now just wondering what i could do? put some t-cut on it? take it off and paint it? replace it? anyone elses done it?
