This is my Lupo i purchased a few weeks back and i absolubtly love it! Mods it already has are: Personal number plate 6 Speed Gear box. Full power flow exhaust CDA induction kit Flushed boot Port and polished cylinder head Tubular exhaust manifold FK konigsport coilovers De locked car background..used to own a fiesta zetec s with my only experience of modding was fitting a cd player and removing the door strips lol so i have a bit to learn but looking forward to it. The lupo is in a completely different league to the fiesta so far i have failed to drive it without smiling or laughing to myself got a gti badge for the front looks much better excuse missing cup holder and door handles they are out for modding

wish my engine bay was as clean as the before shot haha -
i used to see this all the time driving through ystrad
-
yea cheers for the advice ill still get a few more quotes to see what i can get
-
i thought polishing welds involved alot of metal work using a grinder etc to get the finish? yes i suppose that would be abit expensive for just regular pipes, hoses and joiners but what i got quoted for was a custom fabricated stainless steel pipe if that makes a difference?
-
yea i did like the way that was done definately something to consider! but i would like to have something unique aswell
-
cheers much apreciated as i said it was only the first quote going to get a few more before i decide on it
-
cheers for the comment. would you be willing to pay the extra £50 to have the welds polished?
-
yep thats correct

Recently bought a lupo GTI and i am starting the process of fixing its minor faults an doing some modifications. It has a BMC CDA induction kit with the cold airfeed going to the bottom bumper grill. But the girl who i bought it off cut the cold air feed because she said the weather was too cold for it so im looking to replace the cold air feed with a custom fabricated metal pipe to tidy up the engine bay abit more. I got quoted (first quote)a price of £100. Or £150 to polish the welds aswell. Just wondering if people thought the £150 version would be worth going for? Also any comments on the idea? Thank you
