i do like mk2's dont get me wrong but i want something that other people havent got as my mate has an abf mark 2 big bumper gti an a mk2 i could get wouldnt compare

been looking at a few and there 1997 models so AHU engines? and i would have a mk2 but quite a few around my area

few things have changed kinda dint know what to do with/to the arosa im thinking of selling it to make room for a mk3 tdi golf or taking it off the road and fixing it up and fitting a polo gti engine amongst other bits but could see that be cripplin g on insurance.. mk3 tdi's are so scarcee

so the older ones are just turned up on the turbo an fuel pump? you happen to know the years it was made like that?

i dont like 6n2's and cant afford a 9n3 tdi and my mate has a mk2 ibiza so its either a mk3 or another type of petrol car and i want something relatively nippy but not costing bucket loads.. iv been told by a friend who has a 1.9 tdi that having it mapped alone would take it too 120 and a garage i asked said 118bhp on their computer program

even tho james hust used two of his friends to give me advice which im thankful for definately will be getting a mk3 tdi

so my friend told me he has a mk3 diesel that looks like a gti but is diesel he says its the gttdi and 110bhp standard he could be talking utter rubbish.. and as for the engine codes i havent a clue juat no i want a mk3 tdi as i need some decent fuel economy and not haw my tiny engine screaming on the motorway aha

hmm i would have a mk4 but theres about 20 near where i live and yea the mk3 came in the 90 an a 110 gttdi but there rare as ****.. iv been told an Lt van turbo can be fitted an bigger injectors an stuff

debating taking the arosa off the road/selling it and replacing with a mk3 tdi as title says im after a tdi mk3.. any input from previous owners of them would be useful as regarding pushing more power from the engine and what kind of bhp it could produce im not looking to go all out just exhaust,bigger intercooler,exhaust and remap or turning the boost up if possible.. also things like whats the widest width and offset wheels sit well on standard arches and best coilovers for going the lowest also is a shallow sump gunna be needed as my mate had a 1.6 mk3 an craked his twice any help would be appreciated

yea 12" probably isnt gunna fit i had to space my 13's as they hit the caliper but if im wrong 12" will make it sit on the floor which is winning!

im on the job of sorting them out iv got one thats had the lip rolled ans primered but needs some attention an the other is waiting to be worked on and im afraid it isnt but i know atleast 4 people who have the same/similair wheel an no bad reports yet.. if once its fitted it seems dodgey il be sending it back cheers man

yep when fully wound down on the raceland springs the suspension quite literally didnt move it was only tyre flexing because it was because the shock was constantly bottomed out i think wound it up a few turns the suspension actually works a bit now aha

im more concerend about the front bouncing alot but guess il have to live with it or buy different coilovers
