I took the big s badge off my mk1 as it was just stuck on and no recess behind it, not sure about the mk2 though pal

I took mine off amd the paint was mega bleached underneath them from the sun, tried buffing it but had no joy, anyone else had this problem?

I have seen the mk2s with the 16v badge on the front grille, I'm thinking about a mk2 oem badge and putting on my mk1 grille but I can't decide if it will look subtle or chav, has anyone else done this and if so did it work?

Ok so if I dip the clutch, rev it, an it still whines its not the gearbox?

If it was the gearbox would it still whine out of gear?

Could this of affected my 2000 mk1 arosa sport?

It was changed around a month ago mate

I just stuck my head in engine bag an reved it an it sounds like its coming from the belt to the left of the engine, I think its the alternator belt? Sorry not used to these engines lol. But the stearing fluid is also at the minimum line so I best get that topped up too.

Also if its an engine bearing is it going t cause problems / be expensive? I also only noticed it after I had the cam belt changed...

Thanks evberyone wilkl have a check over the weekend, if it was gear box would it still do it with no load? Its not like whistle but it sounds like the same whine you get from your spakers if you have altyernator interfearance.

Out of gear too mate, and all gears are smooth as **** too so I don't think its gearbox, a few people said it could be the pas pump

When I rev my engine it also makes a whining noise that goes higher or lower with the revs, anybody know what this could be please?

Same colour as my sport T do the rear pour plenty of hot water of the badges to ease the rubber tape off, and pick them off gently with something blunt, I used ny rac membership card, youl nEed to guve it a good polish afterwards, and the big seat badge even comes off on the mk1 for extra smothing
