Check the roof on it as my mates g/f had hers go in for rust to be sorted. Dont be fooled by performance spec from 1.8 to 1.25. On the road they pretty much the same till about 80mph. above peeps friend had the 1.8 and we had a race (childish i know). Mind you the 1.8 ther friends had was in black and damn that looked evil. Both engines do suffer from oil leaks.

ANDY4976. Dont go by book prices if your gonna sell private. Your a knob if you do (no offence). These car cars are special. The gti is in what a call the buyers market. If peaple know what this car is and know how rare they are then theyll pay the cash. I know this as ive had the 106 rallye, fieste rs turbo and of course the lupo gti. The pic that starts this post wiv the lupo on bathursts? has it been lowerd? The reason why i ask is cos the larger pic wiv standard loop on bathursts up someones drive looks higher. May be the angle the pic was taken. Either way they suit gti alot more. Each to ther own tho.

I had this prob fella mid of last year. It was leaking from the speaker but it never was so bad as to make the floor wet. Dont think it would be the screenwash cos that would smell REALLY strongly of it. I mean i can tell once mine has leaked through the passenger side side repeater. its really strong but you may not have vw screen wash. Take the lower door card off and see if its leaking past that gray stuff that is stuck to the door.

Dubmiester are cool i got mine from these peeps 6 month ago. The german style surrounds are cool cos the bottom of the plate holder comes away so you can change the plates. Igot away with white front AND rear plate for around 4 months. The copper said that he was happy with the front one even tho its not legal but the rear was taking the piss a bit. I now have the standard plates back on (partly due to me selling it) but i still have the surrounds on. Look on auto trader an you can see my loop with those surrounds on it....silver £6500 (9 pics)..... Ive heard this mentioned before but im sure they dont have it. The supplying dealer i got my used lupo from laughed when he handed the lupogti history over to me to look at. The owner before me had kept all letters from volkswagen to him AND AND AND he'd photocopied about four magazine wright ups. Can only remeber two at the mo. One was putting the car up against the mini cooper (bmw) and the other was putting up against the mk1 golf gti. Actually i think one of the others is when one magazine took ther lupo gti to the ring in the germany.

Well i had the car serviced 2 weeks ago. Only covered around 200miles since. Had to clean it today cos it was filthy. Used a hose on it for the first time to get all the grit off first so water would of gone onto radiator. As i was cleaning the car i noticed one of the tyres was low so once i was finnished cleaning i went up the tyre place near me to get the puncture sorted. place is only half mile away from me. Got the car back home and left it running while i got out and openned the garage door. I noticed steam come out of the lower gti grill. Lifted the bonnet n ther was i little steam and that warm water smell style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . I left it running for around 15mins checking temp and the water along the bottom of the radiater. The water disarpered and no more steam. The temp didnt switch to high. Now. It could be the water over the radiater that i splashed on it or it could be BAD NEWS style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . The fan cut in twice in this fifteen minutes. DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY. How much do volkswagen charge for supply n fit new rad for a gti?
