  1. Thanks for the reply's, I'll look into GMS Kent =] I've previously (about 2 months ago) changed the oil and oil filer, and was wondering would they still do all the service? Or could it be possible that they exclude the things I've done and do the rest? Another thing, when does the timing belt / cam belt need doing? is that an extra? or will it be done as well? Sorry for my poor knowledge Many Thanks

    Service?

I've had my Seat Arosa 1.7SDi for just over a year, and it is coming up to it's 72500 mile service and I was wondering if it's worth doing? Would it be beneficial for it to be serviced and if so does anyone know roughly how much it would cost including parts etc? I live in Bexhill and there’s a Seat garage in St Leonards. Or would anyone advise going somewhere else due to being cheaper but at the same level of service? Many Thanks deadhead
  3. When I start up the engine it makes a whining noise, sometimes it doesn't happen but more often than not it does. Just wondering why it is doing it and if I should look into it? Thanks
  4. Ah right yea i can understand that, cos i wanted to increase the intake of cold air rather than hot ;P thanks Yeah i was thinking about doing that, but i wanted my it to sound more beffy so would it sill be the same if i added it down towards the front? Cheers
  5. + does anyone know the diameter of a 1.7SDi Seat Arosa inlet manifold?

  7. Hi, i have been looking for an air filter for my 1.7SDi Seat arosa, and only come across; "SEAT AROSA 1.7L SDI 60hp (97>) - Single Cone Induction Kit" which is £95.20.. Link; http://www.greenfilters.co.uk/Green_Filters_by_Application_-_Panel_Filters_&_Induction_kits-SEAT-AROSA/c812_1081_1082/p200805/SEAT_AROSA_1.7L__SDI_60hp_(97%3E)_-_Single_Cone_Induction_Kit/product_info.html The problem I have is that I don't really want to spend £95.20 +p&p on an air filter when there are several on the market which are about £25-£30 But when buying these cheaper ones on the market, causes problems when fixing them as they will touch the "gas oil filter" and get squashed when the bonnet is shut. Where as the one for £95.20 makes it so that this doesn't happen Which fits like this; Does anyone have and advice, experience or recommendations to something which works the same but is a fair bit cheaper, or maybe something which i can put together myself with a cheaper filter. Thanks deadhead

  9. Thinking of replacing mine too! Only problem is, when i took the door cards off to remove the speakers they are riveted in. Any ideas on how to replace the speakers and tweeters? and any recommend upgrades from the standard ones? Cheers
