Just got back from a local tyre place. They cannot locate a Dunlop from anywhere, they said its showing they have stopped making them for a few months style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":confused:" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> So my best bet is probably to get two Toyo's to go on the back two wheels. Will this setup be ok with Toyo's on the back and Dunlops on the front? Do the Toyo's wear down a lot quicker?

You were heading down towards the station, I was in my Dads car pulling out a side road.

Ok collected the GTI today, really pleased with it however it needs a new tyre as there is a nasty gash out of it. Its on the passenger side back wheel. Have been given money to get a new one, by the previous owner, so thought i may as well stick a Dunlop S2000 on there again. However i cant find any online, not even on mytyres. Also would it affect the ride if i fitted a Toyo to just this corner? On mytyres it classes the Toyo T1-are as a summer tyre, what does this mean. Any help will be much appreciated.

What sort of abuse are we talking?

To be honest i doubt these garage workers give the cars much more abuse than some of you nutters. The only thing is they dont give a crap about the car. I wouldnt be too worried.

I've heard bad things about getting funny smells in the cabin when an induction kit is fitted. Anyone clear this up for me?

Ok been to view the car and i bought it! Turns out it was Pezza's car off here. I was just reading about the problems he had with the spoiler/leaking but i hope/assume its all fixed now. All goes well i will be picking the car up early next week. For those who dont know its an 04 reg gti with A/C.

Does it matter where the gti was made? any differences in quality?

Its a private sale. Anything to look out for mechanicall, engine, gearbox etc?

Looks sweet mate. I would stick a gti spoiler on thought. I dont like the split spoiler, looks a bit aftermarket.

Does it have a different 'public' URL for the picture? They normally have the url then a public url so people can see the photos without being in your account.

I went down there in my Dads A3. I was looking at all the Lupo's with my mate (guy with glasses who looks like the milky bar kid!). Some very nice Mk1's and Mk2 Gti's down there. I also likes the green polo with the extended bonnet, looked very cool. Sorry for not coming over and saying hi. I will next time!

Hey, I went in the end and had a good look at all the Lupo's. I didnt introduce myself to anyone because you all looked like you were deep in conversation with each other! Had a good look at the silver gti with the old school front badge on it. Who was the red Lupo Gti which was nicely lowered that turned up after everyone else? G
