but the side lights are also w5w/501 like the parking lights. i see sometimes also the description side light for the parking light. but you can solve the problem with the parking lights easily. regards, tom

some gti hid are from osram, other from philips. the fitment is d2s, the philips number is 85122. we sell at the moment upgrade hid from philips, called philips colormatch (philips number 85122cm). they have a color temperature of 5000k, which is more blue than the stock hid from philips with a color temp. of 4100k. best regards, tom

mmmh, there is a better alternative to the philips "blue" vision ultra. namely mtec super white. we are importing them from the u.s. and they have a real white color with a little bit blue in it and the light output is about the same as with the pilips blue vision ultra. here's an example: philips blue vision ultra h7 <--> mtec super white h7 (from a bmw) best regards, tom
