jarynn
Hi,Im new here I was wondering if I bought some official lupo gti wheels, would I have to declare them as a modification?Just a bit confused because they are official vw wheels? Thanks
scotty_82
If they are of a different width or diameter than the standard wheels the car comes with then yes you should declare them
Silver!
Yes, if they weren't an option on the car when purchased new, it's a modification. You could try to ignore the fact and seeing as you bought the car with them on, and they ar VW wheels, you thought they were standard....but if you have an accident they will look for any reason not to pay out. However that said the only person that can tell you the answer is sitting at the other end of a phone. Give them a call and ask.
