If they are of a different width or diameter than the standard wheels the car comes with then yes you should declare them

Yes, if they weren't an option on the car when purchased new, it's a modification.

You could try to ignore the fact and seeing as you bought the car with them on, and they ar VW wheels, you thought they were standard.

...but if you have an accident they will look for any reason not to pay out.

However that said the only person that can tell you the answer is sitting at the other end of a phone. Give them a call and ask.

They will say you had to! They tryed to get me to decleare Heated leather seats in my TT 225, even tho I said all 225's had heated leather! Specalists only for me from now on!
