DarkStryder360
Update to iOS 4.2 and you have a pretty amazing iPhone App that can track where your phone is, using Google Maps. You can also lock the phone with a different PassCode, and send messages to the device. This was originally a paid app, now FREE! Reviews state its only for the iPhone 4, but some say 3GS too.Essential because of... obvious reasons. Tested this morning and locked my iPhone 4, and tracked it on my desktop on 'me.com' using Apple ID.Link below with more info:http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/find-my-iphone.html
DarkStryder360
I can imagine that would be very handy. My Samsung has it built in and its very useful! That is useful, considering someone who would steal someones iPhone etc, could easily just disable the feature, quite easily! gordonbrown
Will you not need a MobileMe subscription though?

NOCK
Rather bad that 3GS isn't supported seeing as Apple still sell them and they run the same iOS4 firmware. Edited December 2, 2010 by NOCK

Saying that though, if you lost your 3GS you'd just get the 4 instead of replacing your old one which makes then money lol

NOCK
fair play, i had an 'emergency phone' carphone warehouse for ages. polyphonic ringtones, snake and 5 day battery life. i actually miss it!):Lol yeah, I like being able to leave my phone on a table and not worry that some pikey is going to nick it.Thing is, I've had expensive phones for years, and every time I say I'm going to buy a cheap one next time. But then when it comes around to it I end up with one of the most expensive I'm such a technology whore
