  1. I have four front bumper pieces in total a top piece from an arosa with a lower piece. a top piece from a lupo and a lower piece with fog light holes. i used the top arosa piece and lupo lower so that I coul install a set of fog light thus leaving me with a spare front bumper. After several months I had decided to buy a bodykit front, but by the time it arrived my car had been written off. so 1 spare and 1 brand new bumper for sale. Body kit: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 Front bumper: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 I did the same with the rear to have a smooth lupo rear instead of the lumpy arosa one rear bumper: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
  2. I have put some of my car parts on ebay now that my new body kit front bumper has arrived. as some of you will know I no longer have an arosa that is why they are for sale. you may have seen the pictures in the topic arosa styling in seconds. search for lupo or arosa on ebay for my car parts
  3. I had a sony CDR M600 which was perfect as it hid away from view when ignition was off, and highlights the interior with a mix of red and blue in the evening.. after I crash the rosa the first corncern was to remove anything worth stealing an im defo installing it in my next car. looks a bit dated with its younger version M8oo but that down to you choice, i know which one i like.
  4. No one has a new rosa for sale in this area as they are not real common in this town. even the dealers dont have any left so looks like driving round in a pug 106 or something like that for a while. what a shame!!!
  5. I was only doing 40 with some dick driving in the centre of the road, cutting a corner, with full beam on. had to swerve and hit the kerb. that made me bounce back into the centre which hit the next oncoming car. after that I ended up rolling over four times and 70metres down the road. the git who caused it all got away and the guy I hit only had a puncture. as its only a mk1 there are no airbags just standard crumple zones and good workmanship. I did however manage to fill the police car up with all my belongings such as sub, Cd player, any any other stuff. I had to go back to the car in the morning to get some photos on me phone and retrieve the tenner i left in the ashtray. since I need it for the next set of wheels no point having the lexus light cos i only have one. the alloys are kerbed beoyned repair and even one spoke has snapped on the rear driver side. i even had a new dietrich front bumper due to a garage today, what an ass. I will put the bumper on ebay as soon as it arrives no good for a while. or make me a sensible offer. cost £214. look at www.cessories.com under arosa/lupo and then dietrich the black one. these are specially made to order so can not be returned. if anyone wants a new mk1 rear bumber in vgc flash red they can have it for a tenner to get it out of the garage. was only on the car for a month when I bought it.
  6. Don't no why I am still alive but i can sure say i would definately buy another seat or vw have you seen this pic at just 50 mph my car flipped 4 times landing upside down, the structure soon saved my life. the glass trail starts about 70 metres from where i landed still strapped in to my seat belt. my car had changed more after these pictures were taken as I had added a new exhuast and a little sticker that covers the third brake light to show "arosa" when you stop.. a little decal of nikala the page 3 girl net to each seat one to make it look a bit cheesier. see the pics here. http://hadsarosa.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ hads arosa anyone have any idea of whats needs doing except writting it off?
  7. i Got my alloys of ebay but were no where near as fiddly to retreat with fresh paint and removing all the curb marks. their Tsw razors. took lots of use with wet n dry grades 400 - 1200 at the end. good luck with those, i would still pay to have them done. aluminium oxide paper wikll do lots of work quickly but you still need fine wet n dry paper but now i can redo my alloys every couple of months if they get kerbed and take me less than a day top redo all my shoes.
  8. If your going to paint any plastic. you will need to use a plastic primer before painting and a laquer top coat. try and use a dull primer especially if painting silver to black. grey primer is best. make sure the surface is clean otherwise the final look could turn out different in places. good luck! post some pics of what you've done if you can?
  9. I have an arosa 1.4 mk1 and bought the pipercross kit from them as they look best to me on a budget. the kit is only for the 1.4.16valve I didn't really pay much attention when ordering so when it arrived it didn't fit, must have been about a cm loarger than the connecting pipe from the air filter., easy solution was to go to B&Q and by a rubber loop the same size and fit it in. job done but the rubber circle came off some toilet piece and had to be cut n glued to put into the stainless cone.
  10. If you really want to bump up the car then drop an audi 2.0l engine in it will fit with no trouble what so ever, as I have just had it put one into my mates lupo so he can fool everyone at the lights, cause everyone knows he's been running on a one litre. he left me for dust and we only took a few days in the garage to get it in. Its a shame that your already buying tho. Imagine what you could have done to that arosa.
  11. My arosa is usually hard to get into 1st gear. but I think this is a good idea sometimes. firstly no one else can move it without stalling on a upward facing hill. this would deter a thief if they couldn't get it in gear, just nick everythin else in it. stops the gf going on shopping trips in my car. theres more rear seat and boot space in mine even with the sub compared to her seicento sporting. anyone else see my point. I hardly ever use first unless i am pulling away, an it never gives me any problems since i bought it.
  12. I'm glad someone agrees that brighton is south for a change and not in milton keynes which is north. so when are we all gonna meet up for a club day? hopefully soon.
  13. I live on the south coast in chav hastings, where we all have a laugh at the undercover police in their modded evo and an audi A4 and even a V reg Escort. They share cars with eastbourne occaisionally too. it's always quite down here in the evenings except for a number of cruisers and modded rides. I think Brighton, eastbourne or ashford would be good as their are quite a few long straight roads for anyone who wants to drag and a lot of car parks to meet in and even closer to me in the south. Another suggestion would be Southend, a good meet as there are always some people around that area and not too far from london. BUT THE MAIN POINT BEING A VERY SOUTHERN TOWN AND NOT 90 MILES FROM THE ENGLISH CHANNEL AT THE SOUTHERN END OF OUR COUNTRY. ANYONE ELSE KNOW WHERE THE SOUTH IS?
  14. Drove past so fast I couldn't tell if it was a Lupo or Arosa. Silver with a good set of rims and a two part spoiler. The number plate had been removed and placed at the bottom of the valances and reduced in size.
  15. depends what Arosa you got. the mk1 is clipped in you, have to remove whole grill first to get the damn thing out. a flat head screw driver and the pushing of some other fixing clips did mine. But its still on as I put a body kit on and needed to know where the holes were to drill in. why debadge you should be proud to have an S on the front especially an arosa. there is only one modded in hastings and thats mine. everyone knows that their can only be one decent car in this crappy town. so why not promote it.
