I have managed to remove the passenger door lock barrel and fit it into the drivers door lock (very tricky) and have blanked off the passenger door lock with the correct VW parts. Now, one key fits all the locks The number plate is currently on National Numbers for £985 plus VAT plus transfer fees. I have sent you a PM.

Volkswagen Lupo 1.7 E SDi finished in Soft Blue with contrasting grey/blue interior I bought this from Josh in January with a broken gearbox, no MOT and no tax. I have spent a small fortune getting it back on the road. Nearly 128,000 miles, although this will rise as I use it daily. 11 months MOT and 5 months road tax. All previous MOT's, many service receipts and original VW owners wallet. New cambelt fitted November 2010. New gearbox bearings and new clutch fitted February 2011. I have just fitted a new heavy duty battery and new air filter and have thoroughly cleaned the air box, inlet manifold and air box trumpets. I have also fitted a Gamma radio cassette unit as I planned to add some rear speakers. I have been getting 58-62 MPG, mainly motorway driving, going to and from work in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. However, there are now 4 of us travelling in the little Lupo and I feel it struggles a bit with 4 adults in it. There are a few points to note: There are some stone chips and a couple of very small/light dinks on the body. It has had a new driver's side lock at some point in it's life and has a different key for this. The other key fits all the other locks and ignition. I was going to fit the passenger side lock on the driver's side door and fit a blank to the passenger side door so that one key would do everything. It is missing the 2 rear plastic seat belt covers. The driver's side lower door card is black and not dark grey like the passenger side, so does not match the rest of the interior plastics. Also, the gear stick gaitor base surround is missing. I have bought one from Club Polo forum and hope to have it shortly. There are no other issues with the car and everything works and performs as it should. At the recent MOT test, the tester commented on how clean the car was underneath. It is in very good condition inside and out. It drives and brakes on a straight line and doesn't smoke or make any strange noises. I am looking for £1250 or £1500 with the private plate included. The Lupo is located in Billingham, in the North East. I can pick a potential buyer up from my local train/bus station or airport. I will swap/PX for something a little larger (big enough for 4 passengers) and a more powerful engine, whether that be a diesel or petrol. My Lupo SDi? 60 mpg on motorways, cheap to insure. Unfortunately not cheap for road tax at £205 per year. PM me if you're interested and I'll send you the details.

No iPod jack input, mate. I think there is something available on Ebay which will let you connect an iPod via the CD changer socket

I used a similar hand-held machine yesterday, which I borrowed from a neighbour, to clear an airbag light on my Lupo. Very handy piece of kit. His is THIS ONE

I had a turbo-back exhaust made by AAS for my Daihatsu Mira TR-XX Avanzato a couple of years ago. These guys make bespoke exhaust systems for racing cars so their systems are very durable and functional. The welding was fantastic and there were no knocking or rubbing issues when fitted. I was very happy with mine. Highly recommended Newcastle's a great night out, so consider staying the night (just park your car somewhere safe)
