Final configuration, it worked best with the active subs playing upwards, and the passive radiators towards the rear. Massive job done, I sold the car completely empty 19 days ago, and this is what it looks like now. £15,000 in components alone has gone it in since then, not to mention building materials and labour.

So 2 weeks ago today I sold my 3L to a major car audio distributor (Mosconi/Digital Designs/Gladen audio/Audiosystem/etc) as they wanted to rebuild the car as a demo/show car. And here are some pics of what has been done the last 14 days. Car will be ready for a car show this weekend, will update with finished pics just after. But looking promising already Dual 18" Digital Designs subs pointed backwards, 18" passive radiators on top (these work as bass ports in practice).

Looks like this will be sold shortly... to be built as a demo car for a major car audio distributor

Only just seen this post now, but yes, this is a vinyl wrap 3M 1080 series wrap vinyl in matte army green. However it changes colour in the right light, this was taken an evening with low and very yellow sunlight.

Thanks Have spent some hours on it yes, hehe.. It has now done about 405,000km and still running strong. Just passed inspection for another 2 years, only thing wrong was a faulty abs sensor and a worn out bushing in the front suspension. I also replaced the brakes just before that, as they were pretty worn out. And off course, special delivery from VW in Germany, no specific 3L parts on stock here. I recently bought a dirt cheap Golf 3 as an extra car, so now that the Lupo is not my only car and daily driver, I can really go all out if I wish.. Rip out the dash and make a new one, maybe with an iPad or Galaxy Tab integrated, and full Focal Utopia front stage, I have all the best drivers from the old W series Utopia. TLR tweeters, 6W mids (6,5") and 7w2 midbasses. Outside diameter is 22cm (9") so the 7" diametes specified by Focal should be taken with a grain of salt, hehe.. I do have these in the doors in the Lupo now btw, and they sound excellent. Still have to make a lower door card to make it look like they belong there.

Sure thing buddy http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/ipb/index.php/topic/334167-vw-lupo-tdi-sq-build-log/page__fromsearch__1 Here are some photos I took with my new 85mm f/1,4 lens late in the evening with low and very yellow sunlight. The vinyl actually changes hue from the sunlight, really cool

Just got to see the newest colours from my favorite supplier of car wrap vinyl, and boy do I feel like a kid in a candy store! Matte red gold metallic FTW?

It still lives Looks totally different now though, wrapped in matte army green vinyl. And a new stereo

Took some pics with the new lens I got today 85mm f/1.4, getting some nice shots in the low sun this evening. The vinyl really changes colour in this light:

Now with added lowness

Thanks a lot guys It will look even better when adjusted down from winter height. (It actually snowed here last week). Would be cool, but since I wrapped my Lupo, 2 other VAG clubs cars here are wrapped in army green with military graphics, so mine actually stands out without them The roof wrap is maybe the coolest addition, hard to see in pics only, needs video to show how it looks from different angles. Here is a full wrap in the same vinyl:

I totally forgot to include a pic of the car done, but here is one I also redid the roof, carbon vinyl gone, replaced it with 3M brushed steel wrap vinyl, and wrapped the mirrors in gloss black. What do you think?
