Hi guys, currently got a Ford Fiesta ST150 but i'm looking to change car to something a little more fuel efficient hence why i've joined up and i'm looking for advice on which car to get, i've done a bit of research and i'm stuck on the choice of 2 possibly 3 cars. The TDi, the 1.4 Sport or the slower SDi, now in the past i've had a 306 HDi which was quite fast but also fuel efficient and i loved the turbo, which is why i want to try the TDi, but obviously there aren't many being sold within travelling distance and in my price range (due to selling the Fiesta st to pay off the finance) and the 1.4 petrol is obviously going to be fun but a bit more pricey on the fuel and tax insurance etc.

Just a pointer and maybe some direction as to where to look for one as autotrader and ebay aren't a big help right now! Thanks guys,

Aaron.

Helllo :]

I got my 1.4 tdi arosa off of ebay, there was one or two on there last time i looked, believe there to be a few on gumtree when i was looking with my mum as she wanted one as soon as she drove mine! sometimes you can find cars in really obscure places, me and my other half have found a few gems in local papers and advertisements in local stores :] hope any of this helps!

Thanks for the reply Steff, i'll keep an eye out, ideally i'd love a tdi but they seem to be quite rare these days! the sdi seems to be the more common diesel but i'm worried it won't be as fun to drive without a turbo, as i'm coming from an ST150 i'm worried the lack of acceleration and speed will be a shock to the system!

I'll keep an eye out :)

If anyone is in the northwest area and are close enough to cheshire, have a look at stylejunkiecustoms, got in touch with them and customer service is great, well worth a thought! Hopefully i'll be sorted with a lupo thanks to these guys :)
