WillGTI
I've owned my Lupo GTI for a few weeks now and am fitting a few subtle mods. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fit a front tow strap ideally to the bottom drivers side mesh grille? Cheers Will

Silver!
Your tow eye mount is behind the drivers side cover aka "tow eye cover"You could get a spare tow eye cover and cut a slit in it for the strap to pass through.Otherwise, just cable tie it to the mesh, that will allow a quick tow off the track
WillGTI
its only for aesthetics really so should I just cable tie it to the mesh grille?

Silver!
If you are going to do it, at least do it properly....but I would say don't do it at all.
WillGTI
so how would I do it properly?
Silver!
Take the driver side bumper mount\tow eye cover off and mount your strap on the eye or the eye bolt. You could leave it like that, or you could then get a slot cut in the cover for the strap to protrude through. The it's a bit more of a JDM thing rather than a Dub, but each to their own.
