Foogzy Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 Anybody know how to dye the headlining black and do the grab handles black , as I've tried to do the grab handles and completely failed I sanded them down with 800 grit , 2coats of primer , 2 coats of paint . 1 coat of clear Flat down , with 50degrees in an oven , 20 mins roughly between each coat , the 1st side was fine , but when I flipped it over for the rear , the 1st side was gubbed , so an somebody please do a walk through or some type of guide as I ain't found 1 yet and need help lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Foogzy Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Because heat normally drys quicker and I had them out for a full day drying in the shed and they never dryed , plus am one of the most impatient ppl out their , so ave only messed up 1 , which I'll need to sand down n restart , just let them completely dry on the first side before flipping and doing the other side then , even if it takes a week to dry lol ? Mrcherrywood Posted October 15, 2013 Report Share Posted October 15, 2013 Try putting them in a less hot area e.g. airing cupboard for the night.Also this isnt the best weather to be spraying in because of the mostiure in the air - try putting a small heater in the shed to bring the room temp up a bit.
