Will Cheyney
Hello,I am shopping around for a competitive quote on bit of body work on a VW Lupo GTI. The damage was present when I bought the vehicle a couple of years ago and have been meaning to get them sorted. There are three main areas I would like repaired/resprayed, of which I have outlined and photographed below. Front bumper (off-side)- 4" scratch/scrape. Has been touched up at some point. Rear bumper (near-side)- Identical damage as front bumper. Near-side passenger door- Small 1" scratch- Rust bubbling on lower corner of door Does anyone have any recommendations of good, reasonable folk that would be able to help?Any help would be much appreciated! Many thanks. danoid
Give your local VW a call, my local one has someone come out from Chichester VW Body Shop for free, takes loads of pictures then drives back and gets the people to look at it then gives you a quote.I always find, yes they may no be cheap (was less than we thought for the damage, so was very happy) but they have the correct paints and know what to do first time round.Actually thinking of it, vw body shop done repairs to my passat when a passenger opened my door onto a motorcylists thankfully I said he has to pay otherwise his family will, and he did As it's free, why not.But hopefully your local vw bodyshop comes out for free
