airbag light

i know they is a lot of topics about this

so found out my mot is next month due to know rules i need to turn my airbag light off

its the drivers side what is at fault

people are saying spray wd40 on the split ring and i have no idea where that is

and othere people are saying just by pass the air bag use a resistor

and i dont have the money to go to vw and say fix it

pictures and ideas will help loads

Just buy a scanner U281 is the one I got from Ebay and that resets faults, there is a dedicated menu for air bags.

Firstly I'd take the negative off your battery for an hour or so, that clears most things, might get lucky with it turning the airbag light off, doesn't hurt :)

Usually if it's still a fault that exists it'll come straight back though, but free to try
