Todd_GTI
Cables appear to be fine, no idea if the ballast is faulty or not, was after a bump so could be anything. Cheers for the reply
davidelliott294
I've had this problem, it was the ballast that went on mines. Check both fuses, there are two fuses - one for the left light and one for the right. Swap ballasts over. If the ballast works on the other side then it could be the igniter. Once you've checked if it is the ballast, you can order a new one here depending on if they have the part in stock: http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/ mines was £130, they are pretty expensive. They provide a 6 months warranty on the part. The ballast is the silver item on the bottom of the headlight. You will need to open the headlight by removing two or three torx screws, remove the part which plugs into the bulb, there is a 6pin connector that you will have to unplug from the ballast, be careful with this, once that's undone work the part that plugged into the bulb down out of the headlamp to remove the ballast. The ballast is held in by torx bits but they have a circle in the middle. Some of these will be rusty and will probably just crumble, apply a lot of pressure to them and they should come out.
