Deuce
Hello. My daughter has a Lupo which has had a few problems which we have resolved.Yesterday following a drive of 60 miles the engine started making this noise a few miles from home.Seems to be timing belt area but I don't know if that would be a pulsating noise? Also recently had a new gearbox and full exhaust. Also wondering if it is something, like an exhaust part rattling as it sound just as loud underneath the car.Anyway its too snowy on the ground to get under, so I recorded a video in case anyone has had this before and can direct me to what the problem is.Thanks in advance. davidelliott294
It's not an exhaust noise, whatever it is it has something to do with a moving part as it isn't a constant noise, it's on\off.
Deuce
It was the cam belt idler gear. The housing had broken and fallen to the bottom of the belt cover, flapping on the belt.New kit fitted, AOK..
