*Jonnyg*
Hey guys, got a Lupo 1.7SDI, but also got a 02 Golf Gt TDI 150. Sadly it got key'd every panel.. So maybe thinking of putting the golf engine in to the lupo? As thats mapped to 206bhp, and pretty much beats most things, so be even more fun in lupo!Whats actually needed to do the swap? Its a ARL engine, with 6 speed box.

fattasss
the drivers mount can be used from a skoda fabia, weld it to the lupo chassis leg.
MoloneyGti
Fattasss - That is brilliant. Does go like **** off a shovel? I like the gauge in the middle of the originals too. Looks smart.
*Jonnyg*
Could i not get the mounts chopped out my golf and welded in to the lupo? Or is that harder?
fattasss
yes u can use the original golf mount for drivers side only not the passanger side due to chopping the chassis leg, there will be no room for golf gearbox mount. *Jonnyg*
Ah i see, so i would need to chop the chassis leg up, and get a new mount welded on to it? I may have killed the sdi last night, i went through a ford, and now its misfiring and smoking really bad.
