Dubmuffin Posted December 5, 2012 Report Share Posted December 5, 2012 Now I understand I'm going to get linked to the tyre stretch library, but I'm asking peoples advice as far as safety is concerned.I have a set of 15x8's on the way, and as we know they come without tyres.Now I'm currently running 15x7.5 with a 165 50 15 set and they are stretched on a tad, but nothing excessive. They are just over a month old so all are in good condition.Which leads me onto my question, will 165 on an 8 be too far? Obviously if it's not that much of a difference in terms of the tyre exploding then I'll happily swap them over.If not, maybe some 185 45's will be the next option?Thanks for the help in advance, maybe some of you can tell me the tyres you run on your 8j's?Tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
