ditchyboy
Just messaged someone from ebay abouit a lupo tdi who says that it is important for the tdi's to have a special (certain) oil when changed. Is that true or is it just a certain grade thats needed like most cars? apparently the engine will pack in after 120,000 if wrong oil used. do they really need to be serviced at vw?Its just that with my budget i might have to get a higher mileage one but dont want a dog.ThanksMichael
James827
I smell Faecal Matter.tdi's can be serviced at home fine, you just need the correct grade and to make sure its got the right VW specification.5w40 Fully synthetic. must be suitable for the VW PD engines! electricracer
yes must use the pd spec oil, can bugger up the engine if not used. its readily available though and not that much more expensive, just keep on top of the services and no problems, mine has 120k on the clock and rising at 2k a month
