sooo...was going round a roundabout on monday, just normally and then the engine completely died...managed to roll to a lay-by on the side of the dual carriage way luckily. Towed it to the nearest garage and they say it's the camshaft AND the crankshaft sensors gone...they say it costs about £80 + VAT each for the sensors...that doesn't include labor or anything! Personally, i think thats a bit steep as i had a quick look on tinterweb and found them for no more than £40 including VAT?! So was just wondering if anyone has a 1.4 V-reg Arosa SE (pre-facelift) that i could grab the part no. from for both of these sensors so i can make sure i dont order the wrong thing....cheers guys!

Good luck with fitting that what a major job

Remove the inlet manifold and wedge back to the bulkhead

unbolt water housing from the side of the head

Pull out thelong water pipe under the inlet manifold

Remove starter

Then you should be able to see the sensor (you will need a ball end allen key)
