Lupo Wheels

Firstly, a MASSIVE apology for trawling up what must be a commonly asked topic, but I am at work in the office at the moment, and snooping on the internet under the radar, and don't have time to search in the correct, acceptable manner....

SO, just a quickie.

While I know that the PCD of the Lupo is 4x100, I was wondering if the hub fitment is the same as for older 4 bolt VW's, like the Mk1 and 2 Golfs?

Only ask, as the tyres currently fitted to the stock rims are naff, so will be changing those soon, and the wheels are sad, boring steels with crap covers. This is also the Boss's (Mrs's) car, so any mods must be subtle and suitable under her management, so was thinking that a nice set of Mk1 GTi alloys or steels might be acceptable.... are the hubs centres the same?

Had a set of GTi alloys on my Mk3 1996 Polo way back when, so I'm thinking yes, but will defer to your better knowledge and judgement

Thanks

G
