Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 I'm looking for a set of shorter rear shocks,the set up i have on the back aint low enough and thats with ta technix coilovers and with the adjuster cup removed .anyone know if GAZ shocks for a mini would fit an arosa? Cooper_GTI Posted March 30, 2011 Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 You could go to someone like GAZ and buy a pair of shocks in the correct length, with the correct size mounting holes.Take the springs out, let the jack to where you want the car to sit, measure the distance between the 2 shock mounts, then get on the blower to Gaz and tell them what you're after. If you use the top end of the shock (i.e. nearly bottomed out) you will blow all the seals and wreck em, which will then fail an Mot. Why not just be sensible and either do it properly with shortened shocks, or just lower it a normal amount.Even better takes the springs out altogether and just sit on the bump stops.
