Lupo-Joe Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 i got some 8000k ones and i took them to an mot mate he said they will fail because its illegal to have HID lights that are not used in projector head lights... HOWEVER ive never been pulled for mine so?? i will just put H4's in wen i take an mot but if you could inform me whether your kits good id appreciated thatJoe.. chris27 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 All info is here: http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlampsI had them on my old ibiza for ages, the only issue is your get a really bad beam pattern as it projects the light all over the place so you would need to put your old bulbs in for MOT.
