s11ybm
Hi!Recently the gears in the lupo (2002, 1 litre) have become stiff, the biting point is very low and I've noticed that the clutch pedal seems to low too. Now is this likely due to the pedal box or the clutch pressure plate? The reason I ask is that when I go through the gears when the car is off, they aren't stiff.Any help and pointers would be great!!Thanks
luupo
When my pedal box broke was very hard to get it into gears especially 1st and 2nd, did make like crushing noise when tried to get it into reverse. When my clutch was gone, the bitting point was low and started to slip a bit . So I guess u might have to replace both , but its my opinion . Take it to mechanic then you will know for sure! Mitchell
easiest thing is to look at the pedal where the cable attaches, it is supported by a bracket ,this bracket will moive when the pedal is pushed, if so its the pedal box
s11ybm
Thanks for the reply guys. It was the pedal box. It got so bad that I couldn't even put it in 1st gear! All sorted now!
