Steven1512
Im going to be taking my alloys off today to put my other ones on for the winter. They will be getting wrapped up and stored in the garage. What do you guys do before storing them? Should i give them a coat of wax? Put anything on the tyres to stop them from perishing? Let pressure out the tyres? Just wondering whats the best way to keep them good as ive never done this before.Cheers, Steven.

bithmeister
Cheers mate do you leave the tyres on and are they okay? Don't crack/perish etc.?i leave the tyres on,i guess you could let the tyres down, i dont as there stored on there side like emz in her threadso theres no weight on the tyres,so they wont go out of shape, anyway think about this, brand new cars are stored for months even years sometimes and they don't movetill a customer orders a particular model/spec then they go to the dealers, don't think they have Tyre issuesclean em,chuck em in your shed ,get them out next spring done
scotty_82
I was just about to make the comment the same as above , there is no real weight on the wheels and tyres so probably no real need to let the air out , plus it may add a little extra protection incase one falls etc.
