yellow arosa 16v are the engines that bad?

i havnt found a car yet but the one i really want is an onvi yellow arosa tdi iv never seen one though did they actually make one lol

so iv just got a quote on an onvi yellow seat arosa and its cheaper than my 8v polo so insurance wise and colour wise its great id prefer a tdi though so are the 16vs reall that bad iv always know of em being rubbish ?

whats the chances of picking up a rear ended tdi and swapping the engine

Nothing wrong with the 16v's as long as they've been looked after/maintained but that goes for any engine really. Just make sure pedal box and cambelt are done.

As for picking up a rear ended tdi, unlikely imo. They're quite rare as it is.
