luptorious
Hoping for a quick reply. Can I run adapters on my lupo gti to fit bbs rs 5x114.3 stud pattern at +36 offset? Thanks in advance for any help!
jamiea7x
doubt it mate im pretty sure the holes would overlap..best looking into maybe getting the wheels welded up and redrilled to 4x100
nfbr
The holes will only overlap if the PCD size is the same.I.e. 4x100 to 5x100.4x100 to 5x114.3 adapters are available but start at 20mm, meaning the offset just wouldn't work at all on the front, and would be Sketchy as hell on the rear! luptorious
Is there any way I can get adapters to work? Here is a link to the wheels. They're almost impossible to find in new zealand. would 18mm spacers work? Thanks mate. Also is it really that much of a problem if the hole slightly overlaps?http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=286674666
jamiea7x
it seems to be quite common for people to weld up holes and redrill them with bbs.. it can be done..but in new zealand i wouldnt have any idea who would do it for you try ringing around some metal fabricators or engineering shops
luptorious
I've got it sorted. Will post up pics when I have the car styled. Thanks for the help Jamie. Top bloke!
nfbr
Yes, totally forgot to factor in the diameter of the wheel bolts due to excessive tiredness. On closer inspection the 4x100-5x114.3 adapters are a two peice set, Minimum 40mm.
