Window weirdness - Lupo

Got a strange problem with the electric windows, 2003 Lupo

Basically from the drivers side switches, neither window will go down

I've taken the switch holder out and swapped them over, no difference

The passenger window goes up and down from the passenger side switch, and goes up fine from the drivers side switch. I can hear the windows trying to go up when I press the switches up, so I assume it's only downward motion affected.

Is it possible that both drivers side switches fail at the same time? Or is there another common link eg. cabling between door and car..

iv got the same problem check your fusses iv replaced my drivers switches and the window regulater that work for all of one day now its doing the same but only with the driver window apprently it could be the plug on the motor im goin to have a look tomorro.

Yeah fuses are fine

I think I'll replace the switches first as one definitely doesn't feel as smooth as the other

Bit odd that they both fail at the same time though .. and both in the same direction

yes they could pos go at same time. try disconnect the swicthes and get a peice of wire and short them out so you are working them manually. if that doesnt work its not the switch.
