Rear upper brake boot light help ?

Recommended Posts

Alright, just wondered if someone could help me here.

Friend of mine noticed i had a brake light out at college today, the drivers side was out but also half of the light on the boot was out too. replaced the drivers side but wanted to no about the boot light becasue was having trouble getting the back off the light to have a look.

What can i do. do i have to buy a whole new light casing and everything from vw dealer or can i just replace a bulb ?

thanks x

Look on the inside of the tail gate, three screws probably, undo them and the light will come out, and yes, it's a complete unit I would think.

VW Dealers for new ones, or any specialist parts dealer that sells them like TPS or GSF
