Spraying my Steelies

Seeing as i cant afford anything atm, im going to respray me steelies and the grey plastic

Can someone give me some pointers, tips?

I know to do light coats, make sure its warm, wait till dry etc but what sandpaper shouyld i use, how should i prepare each wheel and how many coats of primer, what type of primer should i use...so on...so on

Take the tyes off for a proper job or at least get them popped off the bead and mask them up so they dont get over spray .

Personally id rather whip the tyres off and get the wheels blasted or at least the faces then primer , sand back any imperfections then layer up a few coats of paint, but it all depends on what finish you want to how far you go with sanding back and laquering .

They are steelies they wont have to be perfect
